AASHTO M247-81 Type I - This specification is a general gradation specification still adopted by many states. Likewise, many cities and counties allow or suggest the use of this product. This specification does not mandate a treatment to be applied but only gradation requirements. The treatment must be supplied by the agency that imposes this specification.
